Questions families ask

If yours is not here, call us — the answer is usually quicker by phone.

No referral is needed for personal care, elderly support or newborn care. For clinical procedures such as injections, IV therapy or wound dressings we do need a valid prescription or discharge instruction from your treating doctor, which you can share with the nurse on the first visit.

Standard bookings are confirmed for the date and time you select. For urgent same-day requests, call us on +971 55 600 5151 — we hold a small number of slots each day for short-notice care and can usually reach most areas of Dubai within a few hours.

Yes. Every nurse and caregiver holds a valid DHA or MOH licence, carries professional indemnity cover, and has passed our background and reference checks. You are welcome to ask to see a licence at any visit.

Yes, and many families do. Add the request in the “Additional requirements” field when you book, or mention it when we call to confirm. We will always tell you in advance if we cannot meet the preference for a particular date.

Fees depend on the service, the length of each visit and whether care is hourly, overnight or live-in. Once your request is received we call you with a clear written quotation before anything is confirmed. There are no charges for booking or for a cancellation made more than 24 hours ahead.

Yes. Sign in to My Account, open the appointment and use Cancel or Request reschedule. Changes made more than 24 hours before the visit carry no charge. Inside 24 hours, please call us so we can redeploy the nurse.

Care for Newborn & Babies

Yes. Overnight care usually runs from 9 PM to 6 AM and covers night feeds, settling and monitoring, so parents get an uninterrupted stretch of sleep. Many families begin with overnight care for the first two to six weeks and taper from there.

Travel Nurses

Yes. We arrange escort nursing on international flights, coordinate with the airline on oxygen, wheelchair or stretcher needs, and provide a written clinical handover to the receiving hospital or family. Please book at least seven days ahead so visas and airline medical clearance can be organised.

Care for Elderly

We assign a primary caregiver to every ongoing plan and keep them with you wherever possible, because continuity matters most in elderly care. If they are unwell or on leave, we send a briefed colleague who has read the same care notes.

Care for Post Operation

Ideally the day you come home. The first 48 hours set the tone for the whole recovery — dressings need checking, pain relief needs to be on schedule, and early mobilisation should begin. Book while you are still in hospital if you can.

Care for Pain Management

Yes. Our pain management team includes nurses with palliative care training who focus on comfort, dignity and family support, working closely with the treating physician and, where involved, the hospice team.

General Care

Yes. A nurse collects the sample at your home and delivers it to an accredited laboratory the same day. Results are sent to you and to your doctor directly by the laboratory.
